Friends First has over 180 years experience in managing Irish customers’ investments plans. 2017 saw a high watermark for the performance of their wide range of funds and we were approached to help drive awareness for the brand in this sector.
With a number of funds ranking number 1 in their field it was tempting to do a straight campaign purely about performance.
However, what emerged was that the key to this success had been careful management of the funds over a long period of time. It’s in that truth that we found a parallel: Like friendships, the most rewarding investments grow over time.
Hence we find ourselves in a pub watching two friends whiling away a quiet afternoon, content in each other’s company, punctuated only by an errant text message which provokes gales of laughter.
Our idea was extended through digital and outdoor advertising along with collateral shared with Friends First’s broker network. The response was incredibly positive and helped raise both Friends First’s profile and customer enquiries.
