2019 marked the 160th anniversary of The Irish Times. To help celebrate this monumental milestone, we partnered with PML Group, Eclipse Media and PHD Ireland to deliver an ambitious print, digital and experiential campaign.
As well as a series of 48-sheet billboards placed throughout the city, we designed and developed two of the largest LED screens ever installed in Dublin city centre – one on Wexford Street and the other on Macken Street. Each screen measured an imposing 15 square metres and took four men 15 hours (and one clamped car) to install!
The message was simple but powerful, ‘Trust Is Built Over Time’. Throughout its unique and storied history, The Irish Times has earned the trust of a diverse and discerning readership. 160 years on it enjoys more readers than ever before. Its success is down to maintaining high editorial standards while embracing new technology – making it a true news organisation for the 21st Century. We’re confident The Irish Times will be here for a long time to come.
